One logo, a multitude of variations.
The identity is based on a typeface that combines two very distinct fonts into one.

Bridge Projects is a forthcoming gallery and residency program based in Los Angeles that seeks to build a dialogue between historical works and contemporary art. The inaugural exhibition will feature a light installation by Phillip K. Smith III.
Wax Studios partnered with Bridge Projects to develop a type-driven identity that leverages the juxtaposition of historic and contemporary art. The custom typeface combines a neo-grotesque sans that is randomly integrated with an exaggerated serif font, as the user types. The identity system overall supports this idiosyncratic typeface through subtle typographic gestures and bold colors.
