Michelangelo Pistoletto — The Minus ObjectsArrowClose

Primarily known for his Mirror Paintings, Michelangelo Pistoletto created an eclectic set of sculptural objects from 1965 – 1966, known as The Minus Objects. While the works had significant influence on the Italian Arte Povera movement, and have been exhibited on numerous occasions, until now they have not been featured in book form.

The book design engages with Pistoletto's body of work from multiple perspectives: each chapter of the book approaching content from a distinct point of view, feeling less like one book, but rather a family of books speaking about the works in different, but related voices. All are united through the exterior blue casing, with a flush cut that makes the book feel like a solid object.
