Focusing on geometric, utilitarian forms and high quality materials, Building Block is a luxury women’s brand based in Los Angeles. Their iconic bucket bag and other leather products have driven a new approach to accessories across the industry.
Wax Studios developed the branding and printed ephemera to reflect the utilitarian approach to the product. Instead of focusing only on the logo, Wax created a custom typeface to be applied to all communications. The result is a clear yet idiosyncratic brand voice stemming from the essential character of the products. Designed in collaboration with Brian Watterson and Zack Seuberling.
